Althorp Collection Console Table West Gate
A broad demilune top in deeply grained, planked oak stretches nearly six feet across, its rich chestnut patina bearing the kind of warmth that only aged hardwood achieves over time. The hand-carved apron and elegantly tapered legs speak to the English country house tradition — a silhouette rooted in Georgian craftsmanship that has graced manor entryways for centuries. At 72½ inches wide, this console commands a foyer, hallway, or gallery wall with quiet authority, offering generous surface space without imposing into the room. The planked top construction and subtly scalloped apron detail mark this as a piece of genuine artisan attention, not production furniture.
