Art Original Oil Painting H1216-2
A palomino rears against a smoldering, ochre-washed sky — mane streaming, forelegs tucked, the impasto brushwork thick enough to feel the energy locked in each stroke. This signed original oil painting carries the expressive tradition of equestrian art rooted in the Spanish Colonial and southwestern vaquero heritage, where the horse has long been a symbol of power, freedom, and land. The artist's confident, gestural technique builds form through layered tones of gold, sienna, and deep shadow, giving the composition a sculptural quality that catches light throughout the day. Set within a warm, burnished wood frame that complements the earthy palette, this one-of-a-kind work is ready to anchor a hacienda-style great room, study, or entry hall in a Scottsdale home.
