Jason Scott Reclaimed Teak Bookcase – Hand-Carved
From the Jason Scott Furniture Collection, this bookcase is hand-carved from reclaimed teak sourced in Indonesia, solid wood construction that lets the wood's natural grain and warm, weathered tone come through. A deeply carved crown with a leaf-and-petal frieze band tops the piece, echoed by a matching carved base molding, while rope-twist carving runs the full height of both front corner posts. The hand-carving process means no two pieces come out quite alike.
Three shelves are set behind hand-wrought iron cross straps with nailhead rivet details, adding both structural reinforcement and rugged, Old World character to the open storage. It's a piece built with real presence, substantial enough to anchor a home office or living room, detailed enough to reward a closer look.
