Bowl With Top From Bali
Smoke-fired in the ancient Balinese tradition, this wheel-thrown lidded bowl carries the deep charcoal tones and subtle iridescence that only open-flame burnishing can produce. Concentric throwing rings circle the domed lid up to a rounded knob finial, while a pedestal base gives the form an almost ceremonial presence. Balinese pottery traditions stretch back centuries, rooted in ritual use and communal craft — a heritage that lives quietly in every mark left by the artisan's hand. The fitted lid makes it as functional as it is sculptural, ideal on a console, library shelf, or dining sideboard.
