Pierced and repoussé metalwork crowns this chandelier in the Ottoman tradition, its domed canopy dripping with eleven hand-blown ribbed glass globes suspended from twisted brass arms. Each teardrop-shaped globe narrows to a delicate elongated point, a silhouette drawn directly from the lanterns of historic Istanbul bazaars and palace corridors.
