The Cody Upright Chest trades width for height, five full drawers stacked in a vertical footprint built for a bedroom that needs storage without eating up floor space. It's built from reclaimed barn wood salvaged from old barns in the Midwest, solid American hardwood with substantial, thick-cut pieces throughout.
The case wears a two-tone finish: a dark, ebonized wood frame and top surrounding drawer fronts in a warmer reddish-brown stain, with dark cast iron pulls on every drawer. The side panels show the reclaimed boards' staggered joints and grain variation, real character rather than a uniform veneer look. It's part of the wider Cody collection, so it pairs naturally with the Cody bed, dresser, and vanity for anyone furnishing the room as a set.
