Fireplace Set Circa 1880
Fleur-de-lis finials crown a pair of hand-forged iron uprights, their silhouettes rooted in the ornamental ironwork traditions of 19th-century Europe. Cast acanthus leaf scrollwork climbs the base and central column of this circa 1880 fireplace tool set, while twisted iron rods and a drip tray below speak to the practical elegance of the Victorian era. Each detail — from the rope-turned verticals to the elaborately pierced apron — reflects the hand of a blacksmith working at the height of his craft. Part of our Fine European Antique Collection, this one-of-a-kind piece brings genuine provenance and Old World character to any hearth in Scottsdale and beyond.
