Jarron Romano Mocho Micky Med
Broad-shouldered and commanding, these large artisan ceramic vessels wear their fire-kissed glaze like a landscape — pale ash drifting into amber and charcoal where the kiln's heat pooled and pulled across each rounded form. Rooted in a centuries-old Mexican pottery tradition, the tinajas-style silhouette recalls the great storage jars of hacienda courtyards, built to hold water, oil, and grain across generations. The dark-rimmed mouths and smoke-stained surfaces are not imperfections but the signature of wood-fire or raku-influenced firing techniques, making each jar a one-of-a-kind expression of the artisan's hand and flame. Grouped as a trio or placed singly, they bring immediate architectural weight to an entry, courtyard, or interior corner in any Scottsdale home drawn to southwestern and Spanish Colonial character.
