LCT-TALPLTCOP Planter Copa Talavera Planter
Cobalt blue rims a flared ceramic body alive with hand-painted florals, lattice work, and the signature peacock-feather motifs that define authentic Talavera pottery. Rooted in a 16th-century tradition brought to Puebla, Mexico by Spanish and Moorish artisans, true Talavera work is painted entirely by hand — no two pieces carry the same arrangement of color and form. This pedestal planter, or *copa*, is fired and glazed in the time-honored method, giving each brushstroke a vivid, jewel-like finish that holds beautifully indoors or in a covered outdoor space. A grounded focal point for an entryway console, a courtyard niche, or a hacienda-style living room, it carries the weight of a living craft tradition into your home.
